The Institut Curie flow cytometry core facility, shared by both the hospital and research centers, is located in the Laboratoire Laetitia on the second floor at 26 rue d'Ulm. The core facility is under the direction of Olivier Lantz. For information and to schedule, contact Zosia Maciorowski , Coralie Guérin or Annick Viguier at 01 42 34 65 30.
The Laboratoire Laetitia is dedicated to Laetitia Gorce, who died of cancer,
and is the daughter of Christian Gorce who in 1989 founded Courir pour la
Vie, Courir pour Curie. This organisation, with the participation of the
inhabitants of villages in the Pays de la Roche aux Fées (Ille-et-Vilaine),
raises money every year for equipment to further research and improve patient
care at the Curie.

The Laboratoire Laetitia is equipped with two self service cytometers, a 2 laser FACSort and a 3 laser LSRII, and two 3 laser sorters: a FACSVantage DIVA and a FACSAria. There are also several other self service cytometers at the Curie, in Paris and Orsay.
The analysers are self-serve. There are several other self service cytometers available elsewhere at the Curie, in Paris and Orsay.
A self serve Automacs magnetic bead sorter is also available in the Immunologie
Clinique division on the fourth floor at 26 rue d'Ulm. To use the Automacs
magnetic bead sorter, contact Emmanuel Martin at 01 44 32 42 29.
To use the self service cytometers, there is a sign up book in the lab, or call 01 42 34 65 30 to make an appointment. You must be approved to use the self serve machines autonomously. If you are new and need our help at the beginning, please call us to book time for our help before signing up for time on the machines.
